BuildSkills Academy - strategic development of up-skilling and re-skilling the construction ecosystem with certified transitional skills and competences in the build environment through the network of VET providers on the European level.

Activities

For achieving the objectives, the BuildSkills Academy has a structured set of activities grouped in three main parts that form a coherent and comprehensive project implementation process:

Design and verification of the BuildEnrichedSkills methodology.
Design and verification of the Certification framework for transitional skills and competences for the construction sector.
Communication, dissemination, engagement and exploitability.

Platform

The BuildSkills Academy innovative platform, developed by the project, is a free, user-friendly digital tool designed for VET providers to assess and improve their courses. It offers:

Self-assessment of new or existing courses;
Skills gap analysis for construction occupations;
Quality assurance insights to enhance training programs;
Guided recommendations for curriculum improvement;
Skills Explorer with nearly 300 skills relevant to green and digital construction.

The platform is open to all VET providers looking to align their programs with sustainability and innovation in construction. Feel free to register, explore and start using!
